Optimum’s mump2p Goes Live on Ethereum Mainnet With $3.4B in Boosted Stake and a 2.4x Speed Claim

Optimum wants one number to do the work before anything else: $3.4 billion. That is the dollar value of Ethereum stake the startup says its block-propagation protocol, mump2p, is already “boosting” after going live on Ethereum mainnet on October 20. The launch went out on X with a simpler claim — that data now moves across Ethereum two to three times faster than the default network. Behind the headline sit 16 node operators, roughly 22,000 validator keys, and more than 1.4 million ETH in active stake, according to Optimum’s launch announcement .
