Optimism (OP) Showed Different Daily and Rolling Losses on Oct. 22

At 3:12 p.m. ET (19:12 UTC) Oct. 22, a market snapshot showed Optimism (OP) down 9.8% over a rolling 24-hour period. A separate daily measure put the token 8.1% below its opening price that day. The percentages use different reference points: one measures a rolling 24-hour period, while the other compares the price with the day’s open. Optimism, an Ethereum layer-2 network, uses OP as its governance token. On Oct. 18, OP was down 6.84% over 24 hours to $0.12548, extending its seven-day decline to 7.24% ( Oct. 18 price update ).
