A new Hardhat tutorial walks developers through a TRC-4626 vault and USDT's quirky transfer behavior OpenZeppelin has published a step-by-step developer guide for building a USDT vault on the TRON network. The tutorial, titled “Build a USDT vault on TRON with Hardhat,” went live on November 5, 2026. The tutorial centers on a contract called UsdtVault , which extends TRC-4626. That is TRON’s tokenized vault standard, a shared template for contracts that take in an asset and issue shares in return. When a user deposits USDT, the vault mints vUSDT shares to represent their stake.
