OpenAI doubles usage limits for Pro and Business Premium tiers

The move reverses a planned Pro 200 cut and keeps the new always-on dots agents on a separate allowance OpenAI announced on October 29, 2026 that it is doubling usage limits for its ChatGPT Pro 100, Pro 200, Pro 500, and Business Premium tiers. The timing matters. A cut that would have halved Pro 200 allowances was scheduled to start the very next day, October 30. OpenAI has now reversed it. Pro 200 is the headline beneficiary. Its allowance returns to 20x the ChatGPT Plus baseline , and the change is effective immediately.
