S&P Dow Jones Indices will add Okta (OKTA) to the S&P 500 before trading opens Nov. 4, replacing Kenvue and shifting the company into a benchmark of large-cap U.S. stocks. The index provider announced the change Oct. 30. Kenvue’s exit is tied to its pending acquisition by Kimberly-Clark, which remains subject to final closing conditions. Okta will move from the S&P MidCap 400. Glaukos will move from the S&P SmallCap 600 into the MidCap 400, and McGrath RentCorp will take Glaukos’ former SmallCap 600 spot. Separately, Loar Holdings will replace LiveRamp in the SmallCap 600.
