Nvidia set to announce $2 billion in European AI investments this week

The chipmaker's latest European push follows a year of startup deals and large GPU deployments across France, the UK and Germany Nvidia will announce $2 billion in AI investments in Europe this week, according to a post on X. In 2025, Nvidia took part in 14 funding rounds for European tech and AI startups. In 2024, that number was 7. Those 2025 rounds totaled approximately $8 billion. Key investments included €1.7 billion in Mistral AI ’s Series C funding and £500 million in Nscale, with both deals announced in September 2025.
