Nvidia spent $2.15 million on federal lobbying in the third quarter, a quarterly high as U.S. export controls affected its access to China’s data center chip market. The July-to-September expense brought Nvidia’s total for the first nine months of 2026 to $4.69 million. Its latest quarterly spending exceeded the $1.25 million recorded from April through June by $900,000. It was also $200,000 above the $1.95 million recorded in the third quarter of 2025. In the second quarter, Nvidia lobbied on AI, export controls, semiconductor trade and the fiscal 2027 defense authorization bill.
