Nvidia reportedly in talks to acquire Reflection AI, its open-model bet

A post on X claims the chipmaker wants to buy the startup it already backs with approximately $800 million, though the talks remain unconfirmed Nvidia is in talks to acquire Reflection AI , according to a post circulating on X. The chipmaker has not confirmed any such discussions, and no acquisition talks have been independently substantiated. If the report holds up, it would be less of a surprise purchase and more of a relationship going official. Nvidia already has approximately $800 million riding on Reflection. Reflection AI isn’t a stranger walking into Nvidia’s office with a pitch deck.
