US stock index futures advanced on Monday, with Nvidia and leading semiconductor stocks gaining ground after last week’s sharp declines. At 9:05 a.m. ET, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures added 0.4%, S&P 500 futures increased by 0.34%, and Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.6%. Nvidia, AMD, and Intel each traded more than 1% higher in premarket deals, signaling renewed investor interest following recent pressure on the sector. Nvidia’s share price approached $213.40 shortly after the opening bell, recovering from Friday’s closing value of $210.96. The positive move came after semiconductor stocks lost about $2 trillion in market capitalization over eight sessions.
