NVIDIA expanded its open AI model portfolio Oct. 21, with crypto exchange Coinbase among the first companies working with Kumo, a model family built to make predictions from structured business data. Kumo handles information arranged in tables and related records. Its models support forecasting, anomaly detection and fraud-risk scoring, while a companion library helps developers build and deploy tools for those tasks. Coinbase is working with the model family, though the announcement did not specify an application for the exchange. The expansion also includes NVIDIA Nemotron Retriever models for processing documents and improving search.
