On Oct. 29, during the Binance hack, approximately 18,270.2 BTC worth $1.4 billion was stolen, with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) subsequently identifying the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) as the principal perpetrator. Once again, Pyongyang stands accused of orchestrating a $6.3 billion heist against the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.
