Netflix Schedules Two Global Theatrical Film Releases for 2027

Netflix will bring two films to theaters worldwide in 2027 before adding them to its streaming service, a schedule that places cinema runs alongside its push to accelerate viewing-hour growth. Director Greta Gerwig’s Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew is scheduled for IMAX previews Feb. 10 and a global theatrical opening Feb. 12, 2027. Its Netflix debut is set for April 2, 49 days after the theatrical opening. The animated Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory is scheduled for a wide global theatrical release Nov. 5, 2027, followed by its Netflix debut Dec. 22.
