NEAR Trades Below $6 as ETF Listing and Intents TVL Draw Focus

NEAR Protocol (NEAR) traded below $6 on Oct. 12 after a 1.95% daily decline, putting its U.S. exchange-traded product and protocol liquidity in focus. Bitwise’s NEAR ETF, ticker NRR, began trading on NYSE Arca on Sept. 29, 2026, as a U.S.-listed spot NEAR exchange-traded product. The fund gives investors exposure through shares traded on an exchange rather than direct custody of NEAR. NRR provides exchange-traded access to NEAR, but the product’s launch does not establish that it drove NEAR’s price movement on Oct. 12. NEAR Intents’ confidential total value locked reached $166.9 million on Oct. 11.
