NEAR Issuance Vote Closes Nov. 2 With Supermajority Required

The House of Stake vote on reducing issuance of the NEAR token (NEAR) closes Nov. 2 at 11:48 a.m. ET (16:48 UTC), with a supermajority required to advance the proposed supply change. The plan calls for a 90-day grace period after ratification before the gradual reduction begins. Newly issued tokens would continue to be allocated 90% to staking participants and 10% to the protocol treasury.
