NEAR has added a 24/7 perpetual contract tied to India's NIFTY 50 index on Hyperliquid, giving crypto market users leveraged exposure settled in USD Coin (USDC). The contract offers leverage up to 20x. Gains and losses are measured by changes in index points and settled in USDC, with no delivery of Indian shares. Cross-chain funding is also part of the product. The setup gives traders exposure to benchmark movements through a derivative, rather than ownership of Indian equities. The 24/7 availability applies to the contract; the NIFTY 50 remains the reference for calculating gains and losses.
