Navy Awards Bell Textron $114.7 Million Helicopter Upgrade Modification

The U.S. Navy awarded Bell Textron a $114.7 million contract modification for electrical and structural upgrades to Marine Corps helicopters of the AH-1Z and UH-1Y models. Bell Textron is a subsidiary of Textron. The work covers 15 A-kits and four mission kits, with installation work on nine aircraft. It also includes components, materials and spare parts.
