Nasdaq Outpaces S&P 500 as Dow Falls in Oct. 19 Trading

U.S. stocks moved in different directions during trading Monday, Oct. 19, as the Nasdaq outpaced the S&P 500 while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell, leaving the three major indexes split. The Nasdaq posted the strongest gain of the three. The S&P 500 also rose, while the Dow was the only one moving lower in the intraday reading.
