SpaceX CEO Elon Musk expects monthly additions to the company’s orbital computing capacity to exceed ground computing by the end of 2028. The comparison concerns the pace of new orbital deployments; it does not establish when total orbital capacity would surpass the ground-based total. Shaun Maguire, a Sequoia Capital partner, projects SpaceX revenue of $51.5 billion in fiscal 2026, $274 billion in fiscal 2027 and $731 billion in fiscal 2028. The forecast puts fiscal 2027 revenue at about $274 billion, roughly 5.3 times fiscal 2026’s $51.5 billion.
