Musk’s Grok releases first seven minutes of AI-generated Odyssey series

The Grok Imagine pilot arrives months after Musk criticized Christopher Nolan's $1.78 billion box office hit Christopher Nolan needed six countries and thousands of people to make his version of “The Odyssey.” Elon Musk’s xAI is attempting the same epic with a video generator. On October 23, 2026, xAI posted the first episode of an AI-generated “Odyssey” series to X. The pilot runs approximately seven minutes and 12 seconds. It was built with Grok Imagine, the company’s video-generation tool. The episode premiered on X. Musk followed it with a promotional post of his own.
