Musk Projects at Least 13 GW of SpaceX AI Compute by End of 2027

SpaceX CEO and Chief Engineer Elon Musk expects SpaceX to have at least 13 GW of AI compute online by the close of 2027, supported by a major power and cooling expansion. SpaceX had 1.7 GW of nameplate compute capacity as of Sept. 30, up from 1.4 GW on June 30. The company expects to finish 2026 with 2.5 GW to 3 GW of nameplate capacity. At the Oct. 20 earnings webcast, Musk projected adding about 10 GW of compute during 2027.
