Movantis Announces Stellar Integration for U.S.-El Salvador Payments

Movantis announced a Stellar integration for payment flows linking the United States and El Salvador at Meridian 2026, saying it aims to speed digital settlement in a remittance corridor. Stellar is designed to support cross-border payments and currency exchange, functions that align with the integration’s stated settlement goal. MoneyGram also has a Stellar-linked service in the region. Its U.S. transfer app incorporates a balance service in Colombia and El Salvador, where users can hold USD Coin (USDC), a dollar-pegged stablecoin on Stellar.
