Moonpay and Upbit Parent Dunamu Take Aim at Global Finance

Moonpay and Dunamu—the parent company of Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and the world’s third-largest by volume—announced a strategic collaboration on Wednesday. The companies plan to explore stablecoin payments, corporate treasury services, and international financial infrastructure by combining Moonpay’s global payments network with Dunamu’s GIWA blockchain. Crypto payments infrastructure company Moonpay is joining forces with the parent of one of cryptocurrency’s biggest exchange operators to explore how stablecoins can reshape international finance.
