MNX Launches Valuation Futures Tied to Four Private AI Companies

MNX launched futures tied to the valuations of four private artificial intelligence companies, giving traders a way to take positions on OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek and Moonshot without owning shares. The decentralized exchange, built on MegaETH and developed separately from Manifold Markets, introduced the contracts Tuesday. Each expires at 6:59:59 p.m. ET (11:59:59 p.m. UTC) on Dec. 31, 2027. The contracts do not use periodic funding payments. Instead, they settle under published valuation rules that rely on qualifying funding rounds, fund valuations or secondary-market transactions when a company remains private. MNX may determine the settlement price as a last resort.
