Mistral and Nvidia team up to bring AI into engineering simulation

The partnership pairs Mistral's models with Nvidia's computing stack to speed up simulations and build open benchmarks for physics and agentic AI Mistral AI and NVIDIA are joining forces to tackle one of engineering’s least glamorous problems: waiting for simulations to finish. The two companies announced a collaboration on October 21, 2026. It aims to speed up engineering workflows with faster simulations, plus open benchmarks, datasets and evaluations for physics AI and agentic AI. The core idea is to combine Mistral’s models with NVIDIA’s full computing stack and tooling.
