Midnight and Sig Network Partner on Ethereum Privacy Integration

The Midnight Foundation announced a partnership with Sig Network Wednesday, Oct. 28, to connect Midnight’s privacy system to Ethereum applications, with a stagenet integration designed to keep user records private while transactions execute on Ethereum. A Midnight contract checks user requests and controls the Ethereum account used for a transaction. Sig Network’s threshold signing system creates the signature through joint authorization by multiple signers. Ethereum executes the transaction, and its outcome returns to Midnight. Assets remain on Ethereum, so the design uses neither a bridge nor wrapped tokens. Transaction amounts and timing are still visible on the public network.
