MidCap Financial Investment Q3 GAAP EPS Misses by 2 Cents as Revenue Falls 24.9%

MidCap Financial Investment Corporation posted third-quarter GAAP earnings per share of 34 cents, 2 cents below estimates, as revenue fell 24.9% year over year to $61.98 million. Revenue was $2.45 million below estimates. Net asset value per share was $12.86 at quarter-end, down from $13.37 on June 30, 2026. The earnings update follows Ares Capital's Oct. 27 agreement to acquire MidCap Financial Investment , a cash-and-stock transaction valued at about $2.6 billion in total enterprise value.
