A growing list of blue-chip companies and a major bank have raised objections to a tokenized equities initiative tied to OKX and Intercontinental Exchange. Microsoft and McDonald's have objected to efforts to bring tokenized versions of their shares to market through a project linked to crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. Reports indicate that Alphabet, Qualcomm and Goldman Sachs have also joined the pushback, expanding the list of institutions voicing concern.
