Investor Michael Burry has shifted nearly all of his bearish exposure into puts on the Nasdaq-100 index (NDX) and VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH), while keeping longer-dated positions tied to Palantir Technologies and Oracle. Separately, Burry has indicated that U.S. stocks could reach a major peak within nine months. Counting from October, that horizon extends into July 2027, after both sets of puts expire. A put option gives its holder the choice to sell an asset at a set strike price by a specified expiration date.
