Mercado Bitcoin Plans Nov. 9 Website Restart After Security Incident

Mercado Bitcoin, a Brazilian crypto exchange, plans to restore website access Nov. 9, beginning with account viewing as it prepares a staged return of transaction services after a security incident. Customers will first be able to check balances, bills, assets and investment status. Transfers, withdrawals and trading will return in sequence after each service module passes a final security review. The exchange did not set dates for those later services. The initial reopening phase is limited to viewing account information.
