MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF) says its Lawson 5 well in Saskatchewan encountered geology it associates with natural hydrogen, marking a 30-kilometer step-out from its original Lawson discovery. The well reached 2,175 meters and was cased, with 62 meters of core recovered for analysis. MAX Power described iron-redox activity, alteration, serpentinization and strong hematite oxidation in the lowermost Deadwood and Precambrian basement complex. It linked those features to elevated hydrogen along sub-vertical faults. The company has not reported a hydrogen concentration or flow result for Lawson 5.
