Masia Closes €18 Million Debut Fund for Barcelona-Linked AI and Frontier Tech Companies

Masia, a Barcelona venture platform, raised €18 million for its first fund to invest in early-stage businesses in artificial intelligence and frontier technology with ties to the city. More than 70 limited partners backed the fund, including technology founders, executives and experienced investors. Two institutional investors also took part. The platform opened Masia House in Gràcia, a four-floor site covering 1,000 square meters. It has workspaces and meeting rooms, lodging for visiting investors and a terrace for events.
