Mantle Releases op-reth v1.6.3 to Fix Upstream Reth State-Root Bug

Mantle Network released op-reth v1.6.3 with a fix for a state-root bug in the upstream Reth client that can leave nodes out of sync or return incorrect proofs on some EVM networks. Mantle said user assets remain safe and users do not need to take action. The network urged node operators to upgrade to version 1.6.3. The update requires no database migration. The broader flaw can affect requests through eth_getProof, a method for retrieving state proofs. Several OP Stack chains are among the networks with affected software.
