L3Harris Technologies said Monday, Nov. 2, that it received multiple U.S. Army production orders worth $121 million combined for its Low-Cost Data Radio (LOCODA) system to support command-and-control needs. LOCODA is a vehicle communications system that uses existing installation kits and provides access to Army command-and-control applications through multiple transport options on one platform. The system will support narrowband and wideband waveforms, anti-jam capabilities, low-probability-of-intercept and low-probability-of-detection waveforms, Mobile Ad Hoc Network Technology waveforms, and Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio Systems.
