Kraken Halts Trading in 13 Tokens, Sets January 29 Withdrawal Deadline

The exchange has closed order books for a batch of assets while giving holders a separate window to move funds off the platform. Kraken has ended trading for 13 tokens on its platform, according to reports from NewsBTC and The Cryptonomist. The move closes order books for the affected assets, meaning users can no longer buy or sell them through the exchange. Alongside the trading halt, Kraken has opened a separate withdrawal window. Holders of the delisted tokens have until January 29 to move their funds off the exchange.
