Keystone will destroy 18,835 older devices and pause shipments of unfulfilled website orders as it responds to a breach involving customer records and device-verification keys. The company said attackers accessed 25,964 buyer records containing personal information and obtained verification keys that could be used to make counterfeit devices pass its website check. Keystone plans to stop using the affected keys and destroy inventory devices that rely on them. Shipments of pending website orders will remain paused until devices using new keys enter production.
