Jump Trading Plans Market Making for CME and ICE Compute Futures

Jump Trading plans to make markets in artificial intelligence (AI) compute futures being developed by CME Group with Silicon Data and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) with Ornn, bringing a trading firm into a market for contracts tied to GPU capacity. Jump has formed a dedicated team and plans to use its balance sheet to take trading risk as a market maker in both sets of contracts. The move builds on Jump’s earlier plans to trade computing-capacity contracts . DRW plans to trade compute contracts through three teams using different strategies.
