Jev Reached 35% of Paid Teams on Vercel’s AI Gateway in Two Weeks

TypeSafe AI’s Jev was used by 35% of paid teams on Vercel’s AI Gateway within two weeks of launch, giving it almost twice the reach of Sonnet 5.5, the next most popular model on the service. The figure measures teams using the Gateway, a service that provides access to multiple AI models through one API. It does not capture all model use: major AI labs such as OpenAI and Anthropic also offer their own APIs, so activity outside Vercel’s service is not reflected in its figures. Jev’s limited release began Sept. 15.
