Traders circulated screenshots of De Miguel-themed tokens showing profits of $84.99 and $90.29. CD Tenerife confirmed the striker’s death and relayed his family’s request for privacy. Crypto accounts condemned traders for using news of the footballer’s death to make money. Pump.fun has previously described removing inappropriate token names, images, descriptions and comments. According to CD Tenerife, De Miguel died at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
