iPhone Duo Users Report Screen Cracks Near the Hinge After Few Uses

Reports from Australia and Texas describe inner-screen failures near the hinge on Apple’s iPhone Duo; one moderator found an Australian owner’s photos and Apple records supported a broken display and replacement, but did not establish why it failed. The Australian user, posting as u/Midnight_Slump, said the phone had been in their possession for about six hours and had been opened fewer than 20 times. “As I continued opening it, I heard an audible crack, and the screen broke right along the hinge,” the user wrote. They said Apple replaced the phone at a store.
