Inspired Capital Closes $450 Million Fourth Venture Fund

Inspired Capital has closed its fourth venture fund at $450 million, giving a New York investor with two crypto businesses in its portfolio more capital to back early-stage companies. The firm announced the close Oct. 20, lifting its total committed capital to more than $1.3 billion. It plans to continue leading pre-seed, seed and Series A financing rounds for startups. Inspired Capital’s investment areas include AI infrastructure, health care, defense, fintech, robotics and consumer businesses. Its plans for the fourth fund span those sectors; the firm announced no allocation specifically for crypto or blockchain companies.
