Both groups submitted their request to the Circuit Court of Sangamon County on Tuesday, urging an expedited timeline for summary judgment on the measure’s legality. The advocacy groups are seeking a swift court decision to clarify whether the state’s 0.2% tax on crypto asset transactions aligns with legal standards.
