IGM Financial Net Earnings Rise 63.5% With Northleaf Acquisition Gain

IGM Financial Inc. posted third-quarter net earnings of C$487.5 million, up 63.5% from a year earlier, as a Northleaf-related gain lifted results and revenue climbed to C$1.32 billion. Net earnings compared with C$298.1 million a year earlier and included a C$144 million after-tax gain tied to the Northleaf acquisition. Revenue rose from C$971.9 million and included a C$178.9 million gain related to the acquisition. Adjusted diluted earnings per share were C$1.51, an 18.9% increase from a year earlier.
