A Hyperliquid wallet closed a $110.85 million Bitcoin (BTC) long at a $3.26 million loss, then opened long positions linked to Tesla and two semiconductor-related funds ahead of Tesla’s quarterly results. The closed position contained 1,355.6 BTC. The new positions were perpetual contracts tied to Tesla, the Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) and the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X ETF (SOXL). The Tesla-linked contract provides price exposure but does not represent ownership of Tesla shares. Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 framework lets builders deploy perpetual markets and set specifications such as oracles and leverage limits.
