Hyperliquid recorded $201 billion in Q3 2026 trading volume for perpetual contracts linked to stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and equity indexes. The figure puts a quarterly measure on derivatives activity across markets that were not available on the platform a year earlier. Perpetual contracts have no expiration date and track an underlying asset’s price. Traders can take long or short positions without owning the asset. The $201 billion measures derivatives trading, not the value of shares traders purchased or held. Separately, onchain trading in tokenized stocks and ETFs exceeded $37 billion during Q3.
