The enterprise and government machine skips Intel, Qualcomm and Windows entirely, running on a Kirin X90 chip and HarmonyOS V1.0 Huawei has built a desktop computer with no Intel inside, no Qualcomm chip, and no Windows. The Qingyun HM650 debuted Thursday, and the South China Morning Post reported that the machine is 100% domestically made. The launch took place at the HarmonyOS Office Industry Summit in Wuhan on November 5, 2026. It marks Huawei’s first desktop running its own HarmonyOS operating system, and it lands squarely in the middle of China’s long push for technological self-reliance under US export restrictions.
