HPSP Agrees to Supply Tesla and SpaceX's Terafab Research Line

HPSP has agreed to supply one high-pressure hydrogen annealing system for Tesla and SpaceX's planned Terafab research line, the sole identified equipment commitment as the companies broaden talks with South Korean suppliers. About 10 suppliers are involved, and more than half have signed nondisclosure agreements. The discussions cover process materials, piping parts, environmental systems and chip-testing components for the proposed Texas chipmaking project. Tesla and SpaceX representatives visited about 10 South Korean company booths at SEMICON West on Oct. 13, the show's opening day. The San Francisco exhibition ran Oct. 13-15.
