Hoskinson Confirms Joining Call as Back Critiques Ethereum’s Ledger Design

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson confirmed via a social post that he had joined a call involving Blockstream CEO Adam Back, whose latest critique has renewed discussion of blockchain ledger design. Back said he had tried to warn Ethereum’s early developers, arguing that Bitcoin’s unspent transaction output (UTXO) model was designed to avoid some distributed-systems problems. Hoskinson wrote, “I can confirm. I was in that call.” His post confirms his attendance but does not identify the call’s subject, describe what the participants discussed or explain the warning Back says he made.
