Hong Kong Summit Closes Main Session After Drawing About 280 Leaders

The main session of the fifth Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit concluded Nov. 3 after drawing about 280 financial leaders to Hong Kong, ahead of a closing investor forum scheduled for Nov. 4. Around 120 group chairpersons and CEOs joined representatives from banks, securities firms, asset owners and managers, private equity and venture capital firms, hedge funds and insurers. The summit’s theme was ‘Rethinking the Playbook.’ Panels examined economic trends, financial market shifts and technological advances, with discussions on how risks and resilience vary across sectors, asset classes and regions. Vice Premier He Lifeng delivered the opening keynote by video.
