HomeTrust Keeps Quarterly Dividend at $0.15 as Preliminary Earnings Rise

HomeTrust Bancshares kept its quarterly dividend at $0.15 per share as preliminary third-quarter net income rose to $18 million from $15.6 million in the June quarter. The board set the quarterly payout on Oct. 21, maintaining the rate from the prior quarter. Cash dividends totaled $2.4 million in both the quarter ended Sept. 30 and the one ended June 30. Preliminary diluted earnings were $1.11 per share for the September quarter, compared with $0.94 in June. Net interest margin reached 4.46%, up from 4.41%.
