Henley Estimates 135,694 Crypto Millionaires Under Revised Method

Henley & Partners estimated that 135,694 people held at least $1 million in cryptocurrency on Aug. 31, using a revised method that prevents a direct comparison with its 2025 count. The firm released its Crypto Wealth Report 2026 on Sept. 8. The estimate includes 92,272 people with at least $1 million in Bitcoin (BTC) alone. Henley also estimated that 290 people held at least $100 million in crypto and 23 held at least $1 billion. These are modeled estimates, not a list of identified investors. Henley’s Bitcoin estimate starts with 123,222 blockchain addresses holding at least $1 million in BTC.
